Rector Search Update

On behalf of the entire parish, the Rector Search Committee is pleased to announce that our rector position posting on the Diocesan website officially closed for applications effective March 1, 2021. We are delighted with the number and qualifications of the candidates and look forward to learning about their ministry and work.

The search process now moves into the Discernment Phase. The members of the search committee will be prayerfully reviewing the application materials and meeting as a group to decide which candidates to invite for the first-round of interviews via Zoom. We estimate that this stage, including the interviews, will take us into late April.

We will be able to further project a tentative timeline only after deciding how many candidates will move onto the second stage of interviews. Please remember the Discernment Phase of the search is highly confidential. We cannot share information about the candidates.

Please hold the Search Committee and the candidates in prayer as we begin this work of discernment which is so important for the next chapter of our life together as St. Lawrence Church.
